Auburn Baseball Uniform Tracker Week 7
After a few great weeks of Auburn baseball, the team was due for a rough series, and that’s what they got. We’ll see what happened shortly, but first, the midweek game.
Tuesday night the Tigers hosted Kennesaw State again, winning 10-5. It was a sloppy win, including 3 errors for Auburn and a 5 run 7th inning for the Owls. Auburn wore the throwback uniforms again, continuing the streak and bringing the record in those to 7-0.
Missouri came to town for the weekend series, which for some reason was Thursday/Friday/Saturday instead of the usual Friday/Saturday/Sunday games. For the Thursday game, the Auburn Tigers again wore the throwbacks. After a rough night of errors, Mizzou won 4-3, ending the seven game win streak for the throwback uniforms.
Friday consisted of tons of rain all day, finally subsiding around 3 p.m., just three hours before the game was slated to begin. Thanks to the best grounds crew in the country, the playing field was near perfect at game time (there were a few puddles on the warning track, but everything else was wonderful). Auburn wore the pinstripe uniforms, which they were 3-0 in coming in to the game. After another rough night, Missouri won 4-2. Two games, two losses, two uniform streaks ended.
Saturday was a different story all around. The weather was absolutely crazy, going from wind, cold, clouds, sun, hot, rain, drizzle, and everything else in-between throughout the game. I wore long sleeves and a jacket, and took the jacket off and rolled up my sleeves a good dozen times combined. Auburn broke out the blue jerseys with the new white stripped stirrups we haven’t seen in a while. They’ve only worn this combination once and ended up losing the game. To go along with the trend of the rest of the weekend breaking uniform streaks, this one was broken as well. Auburn defeated Mizzou by a score of 7-3 to avoid the sweep.
Here’s the new uniform standings after this past week:
Auburn may have been defeated on the field, but they blew Mizzou out of the park in the uniform competition. Missouri’s uniforms were nothing special and very boring all weekend. But no one could beat the Auburn Marketing Department with their giveaways this past weekend! Thanks guys!
Auburn takes on Samford Tuesday night at 6 p.m. for the only home game of the week. The Tigers travel to Ole Miss for the weekend, being only the second road series of the season. The next home series will be the weekend of A-Day when Auburn hosts South Carolina.

I wonder where all the hats from last year went. Seems like we only have 2 hats….
They're all in the equipment room at the ballpark, I saw them first hand. Even new hats were apparently ordered before the season, so it sucks that we haven't seen any of them.
