Every New College Football Uniform for 2026

It’s almost here. College football returns this weekend!

Which means it’s time for the unofficial kickoff of the season with our annual preview of every new college uniform, helmet, field, and so much more. This summer saw some conference realignment, which requires updated jersey patches. A handful of programs have swapped uniform providers as well.

Probably the biggest impact this year is the NCAA rule allowing teams to sell advertisement space on their uniforms. There are a lot of them listed here. The sponsor name won’t be listed, but a short description of their work and a link to the image will be included. (They aren’t sponsoring this post after all!)

While it feels like the Wild West in college athletics right now, the ads have some sort of guidelines. At least from the manufacturers. Nike and Adidas both sent memos to their teams regarding guidelines for the ads. Notably, they must be “acceptable to Adidas/Nike,” so “no alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, or gambling companies.” They both mention that the manufacturer logo should be the most prominent mark beyond the school branding.

That’s enough of that. Let’s dive into each team’s changes!

ACC

In 2021, the ACC relaxed their requirement for teams to wear the conference logo on the front helmet bumper. Now, it looks like the conference is going back to the old rules, as each team at media days was shown with the ACC bumpers. It’s a real shame, too.

Boston College

The Eagles will have a credit union sponsorship logo on their field this season.

Cal

For the first time since moving to Nike, Cal will be sporting full throwback uniforms, complete with the lighter shade of blue. The pants include a cool detail to honor Joe Roth, the legendary quarterback that the team has honored with similar throwbacks over the years, with a C-Football patch on the pants with Roth’s 12 inside.

The Bears will be wearing a sponsorship ad for an AI-based customer service platform.

Duke

Duke has consistently sported the Indianapolis Colts-inspired uniform design, with the double stripes on the shoulders and pants. This year, the Devils decided to change it up a little bit to be more Duke-specific. The pants lose the standard stripes and now have a diamond-shaped design. It’s an odd look in general, but it’s a nice detail – that’s the negative space in the middle of the school’s primary D logo.

Georgia Tech

The Yellow Jackets have swapped from Adidas to Under Armour this season. The new set is a little all over the place. The base set contains white and gold jerseys, pants, and helmets. The tops have a contrasting colored collar, except for the very front, which matches the body color. The numbers feature a navy outline with metallic beveling on the inside. The shoulders and pants include a unique zig-zaggy stripe, apparently meant to represent the Kessler Campanile, a campus fountain landmark.

Despite the navy blue details, a pair of dark grey pants is available, which are “in homage of the Institute’s past, present and future commitment to industry and technology.” Whatever that means. GT wore black as a throwback-inspired uniform years ago and then recently introduced the dark grey with Adidas. It feels like a lame excuse to shoehorn an additional color into the wardrobe.

Louisville

Louisville is once again honoring the city’s favorite son, the late Muhammad Ali. This year’s black alternates will feature a large wordmark reminiscent of the Everlast brand gloves and boxing trunks that Ali wore during his career. The wordmark, numbers, and helmet logos are all white with a gold outline. Three gold stripes wrap around the collar and down the side of the pants with a gold circle to house the Cardinal head logo. Ali took home the gold medal at the 1960 Olympics, which is likely the connection with the uniform’s trim color.

NC State

The Adidas-wide alternate uniforms this season is, unfortunately, camouflage. NC State’s edition might be the least offensive of the bunch (very low bar there) because it’s much more subdued than the other teams, going with a more tone-on-tone, all-black approach. The camo pattern dons the entire jersey and pants, with a solid black nameplate to house the player names. The numbers keep the same custom font, but have an added stencil line to break it up a little bit. The back collar of the jersey also include seven stars to represent the “seven major military installations in North Carolina.” A matte black helmet is paired with the look, including a black and red Wolfie decal.

The school also updated the retro “Slobbering Wolf” logo to be more modern. The updates include cleaner line work, but also update the wolf’s cap to read “NC State” rather than “NCSU” to be more universally recognizable.

North Carolina

Lots of news out of Chapel Hill this season. The school has become the latest in a long list of universities to adopt the athletic logo as the academic logo, with the interlocking NC replacing the Old Well logo. The Tar Heels will also be celebrating the 100th season of Kenan Stadium. It doesn’t appear that the team will wear the commemorative logo on the uniforms this year. As part of the celebration, though, the stacked UNC throwback helmet decals will return for a season. An online store listing for a new throwback jersey may have leaked the rest of that combination, rather than sticking with the striped look worn in recent years.

UNC will be kicking off the college football season this weekend in Ireland against TCU. For the occasion, the Tar Heels’ helmets will feature some nice Irish touches. The front “UNC” bumper is now rendered in green, white, and orange. The rear bumper is now in an old Gaelic font with a USA flag shaped like a shamrock.

SMU

SMU is one of thirteen schools adding a certain insurance company’s logo to their playing fields this season.

Stanford

Stanford has partnered with a local clothing company, Island Avenue, and will be celebrating Samoan culture with a new apparel launch. Part of the partnership includes a special helmet with a tribal-pattern center stripe. It’s also paired with a red facemask, which, surprisingly to me, is the first time since 2017 a red mask will be worn.

Syracuse

A new sponsorship ad will be added to the Carrier Dome field. Due to the existing ad and field name, the new advertisement will go on the out-of-bounds border.

Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech’s deal with Nike expired in June 2025, but the two parties agreed to an extension until a new deal could be signed. The school has since released a request for proposal for a new athletic apparel partner. The RFP was only open for 10 days, which likely was just to satisfy a state law regarding bids. At the time of writing, there is no update for Tech’s apparel partner.

Wake Forest

The Demon Deacons will join a few fellow conference mates and add a new sponsorship ad to the field. It will be placed in the out-of-bounds border due to the existing ad.

American

Army

Army will have a sponsorship advertisement on their jerseys for a military banking and insurance company.

East Carolina

ECU is honoring Chris Johnson and his fight against ALS (image via ECU Athletics)

Former ECU and Tennessee Titans legend Chris Johnson announced earlier this year that he had been diagnosed with ALS. The Pirates will honor Johnson with a special #5 helmet decal this season.

After introducing throwback purple uniforms a few years ago, East Carolina will have an accompanying white version, complete with the shoulder stripes and drop shadow numbers.

Memphis

The Tigers will wear an advertisement patch for a delivery company based in the area.

Navy

Navy has added a military banking and insurance company sponsorship patch on the jerseys, the same as Army.

North Texas

UNT has introduced a new mascot logo named Desert Scrappy, featuring a sheriff eagle with a cowboy hat, belt buckle, and holstered pistol.

Rice

The Rice Owls are now being outfitted by Nike after years with Adidas. The new set moves the horizontal sleeve stripes to vertical shoulder stripes, with the outer stripe being a bluish-grey color rather than a straight grey shade. The same color is used on the chestmark. The pants remain stripeless, as do the primary helmets.

South Florida

USF was busy this offseason. While announcing the team’s jersey ad with a local hospital, the Bulls also showcased a new helmet design. The new shells feature a gold/green/gold stripe, with the green featuring a heavily speckled finish. The team will also resurrect the beloved oversized helmet logo in all gold with gold masks, again with the decal including a lot of flake.

Temple

The Owls signed an attorney’s office for their jersey advertisement.

Tulane

Tulane never misses.

The Green Wave have revealed their latest City Connect uniform that is fully Mardi Gras themed. The green jerseys include a triple dropshadow number, with white numerals followed by purple, green, and gold shadow outlines, and a white collar with a bead/argyle pattern as a nod to the team’s early 2000s design. The same argyle pattern is on the sides of the white pants and the center stripe of the helmet. A beautiful jester-themed Angry Wave logo, with the crest of the wave recolored to purple and gold, sits on the collar, pants, and on the hand-painted helmets. The nameplates feature beads hanging off the first and last letter of each player’s name – an incredible touch. And finally, the front bumper on the helmets features a gold, purple, and green king cake.

Big 10

Illinois

The Fighting Illini will be wearing an ad patch for a banking company based in Champaign.

Indiana

The defending national champions will be utilizing Adidas’s latest template style. The biggest change is the IU logo is on the collar. The old template game jerseys are being used as practice tops.

Iowa

A new sponsorship logo will appear on the Hawkeyes’ football field this season.

Maryland

The Terrapins are hosting a Hispanic Heritage Night on September 19th against Virginia Tech and will celebrate with special Los Terps helmet decals. Maryland is teaming up with El Tiempo Latino, an independent Latino media company in D.C., to help bring everything together. The two worked together to promote a Hispanic Heritage Day basketball game last year as well.

Michigan

Michigan Stadium has a new turf field this year, though it looks to retain the same design.

Michigan State

The Spartans are going to wear a jersey patch for the school’s credit union. Initial announcement photos included the logo on the front helmet bumper. The team’s media day images include the bumper ad, though I’m not entirely sure if that would be allowed for games. But it’s already the wild west, so why should we expect this to be policed?

Minnesota

After a two-year hiatus, the chrome gold helmets are returning for the Gophers.

Nebraska

Probably the biggest change of the year: Nebraska has reinvented their base uniforms for 2026. The traditional base red jerseys with two white stripes on the sleeves and white pants with dual red stripes are no more. The new “core” uniforms include vertical shoulder stripes that come to a point on the front of the chest, along with a new rounded number font, supposedly meant to resemble numbers “engraved on a steel anvil” to “embrac[e] Nebraska’s agricultural heritage.” The numbers also include a linear texture, which the team promotes as “interior lines inspired by the crop rows that stretch across the state’s landscape.” The pants also feature diagonally cut-off double stripes, but they cover only the bottom third of the leg.

The look isn’t horrible – the font itself is pretty nice – but it feels more NC State than Nebraska. It’s an odd choice for a program that has long trumpeted its history and stuck to the same primary uniform design for years.

It wouldn’t be a Nebraska football season without a new alternate uniform. It’s essentially a black version of the base design, with red stripes and details. The numbers are white with red outlines to pop off the black canvas better. The biggest detail is with the helmets, which feature the secondary “Huskers” logo. This marks the first time that Nebraska has worn any logo besides the N or NU logo on the lids since 1966, when the letter(s) first appeared on the shells. There’s also a dot-matrix N placed underneath the back number, supposedly meant to represent the drone show that’s performed prior to the fourth quarter.

Northwestern

The Wildcats have introduced the next edition of their annual Gothic alternate uniforms, this time around being purple rather than black. The design features a gold/black/gold set of stripes on the jersey shoulders and down the pants leg, with a different gold/black/purple stripe used on the helmets. The jersey stripes have the school name written in the Gothic font on the black stripes. The pants carry a similar element with the archway pattern in the central stripe. Black N logos are placed on the helmet and shoulders, with the archway being used on the back of the lids and on the pants hip. The numbers also carry a textured gold effect that is sure to shine during game action.

Ohio State

The Buckeyes have a lot of news this year. First off, the team will sport new base uniforms with the “Heritage Stripes” on the shoulders. In 2006, Ohio State moved to shoulder stripes that better matched the helmet stripes. In 2015, the throwback stripe design was utilized during the Playoffs run and has been used as a Playoffs staple ever since. The Block O logo now sits on the collar, replacing the O + Ohio State primary logo. The O also is now used on the front bumper, replacing the Ohio State wordmark. And finally, the nameplate font is moving to a standard block font rather than Nike’s custom font, but the differences are pretty negligible.

The controversial monochrome combinations are returning this season, with the Buckeyes pairing alternate white pants with the white tops and scarlet pants with the red jerseys. Ohio State is also keeping black in the rotation, complete with the updated striping patterns.

While the stripes are a nice improvement, it’s all going to be soiled with the addition of a large banking company’s advertisement on the jerseys.

And finally, a new turf field was installed over the summer. It’s ultimately the same design as previous years, with updated technology to provide the best artificial surface.

Oregon

The Ducks are one of thirteen schools across the country adding an insurance company’s logo to their field as a sponsorship.

Penn State

The Nittany Lions are now wearing Adidas uniforms after years with Nike. As expected, the new Penn State uniforms are identical to the old sets – plain, basic, and simple. No word if the throwback uniforms with a few more design elements will return with Adidas this year.

Purdue

The Boilermakers are one of thirteen schools adding a specific company’s sponsorship logo to the football field this season.

Washington

The Huskies got that dawg in them – well, on them. Washington’s 2026 alternate uniforms include an all-black look, with “DAWGS” in gold on the chest. It also includes a new sharp number font, rendered in purple with gold outlines.

Wisconsin

The Badgers kick off the season against Notre Dame at Lambeau Field this season. Both teams will sport monochrome uniforms with chrome silver details. Wisconsin will be in all red with the double stripes moved from the sleeves to the shoulders. The marketing team is claiming the stripes are a combination of Green Bay’s triple stripe pattern and UW’s modern broken stripe design, and the silver is “inspired by the Lombardi Trophy.” The motion W logo will sit on the shoulders with an American Flag sitting on the chest in honor of Labor Day.

The chrome silver details really pop. Unfortunately, the helmet is paired with a flat grey facemask, which feels like a missed opportunity.

A beloved fast food joint is sponsoring the Badgers’ jerseys this year.

USC

USC has signed an extension with Nike, which will keep the Trojans with the Swoosh through 2036.

The Trojans also signed with an insurance company for a field sponsorship.

Big 12

With individual teams selling ad space, the Big 12 took it a step further: selling naming rights to the entire conference. Welcome to the new Monster Energy Big 12 Football season (*eye roll*).

With the name change, comes a new conference patch for each team’s jerseys. And, you guessed it, it’s bad. The original Big 12 logo now sits beside the Monster Energy logo on a black rounded rectangle with a white outline. But hey, at least the Big 12 logo remains in team colors!

There is pushback from fans and doctors alike to remove the co-branding logos across the board.

Arizona State

The Sun Devils are honoring the 40th anniversary of the program’s 1987 Rose Bowl victory with beautiful throwback uniforms. The gold helmets and pants and maroon jerseys each feature a fantastic set of triple stripes, much like the 1986 team wore. It’s always nice when Sparky returns to the helmets as well. When I think of Arizona State, this is what I think of. This should hands down be the team’s primary uniform moving forward.

Baylor

While allowing fans to vote for the team’s uniform combination for the week two matchup against Prairie View A&M, the Bears revealed a newly updated green helmet with yellow and white stripes. It’s the first time a Baylor helmet has featured a stripe since 2018 and the first time this specific stripe design has been utilized. The fans ultimately voted for the green jerseys and white pants, which feels like the least impressive combo of the three.

Baylor also has announced a throwback uniform to be worn during the Colorado game. But it’s a modern twist, which doesn’t hit well. The entire look is based on the 1980s uniforms, with green jerseys featuring large white bear claw shoulder patches and white pants with a green/white/gold striping pattern. The helmets mimic the old-school design, with a white/gold/green stripe and the star decals flanking the stripes. Unfortunately, it’s using the modern gold chrome shell rather than the old-gold worn back in the day. A matching helmet would be such a win for this uniform, but it falls short because of the misuse of the chrome finish.

BYU

BYU’s jersey ad will be sponsored by a Utah-based property management software company. (Funny enough that they revealed the ad on an old jersey template, too.) BYU’s deal with Nike is past its original expiration date with no word on what the future holds for either party.

Colorado

Head coach Deion Sanders posted to social media over the summer showcasing a few jersey/pants combinations that haven’t been worn with the current set first introduced in 2024. It’s unclear if they’ll actually be worn this season or not, but it’s always fun to see the available options.

Colorado is also one of a baker’s dozen schools added an insurance company logo to their football field.

Kansas

The Jayhawks will feature an advertisement patch from a cryptocurrency platform.

Kansas State

Kansas State has partnered with a local heavy equipment auction house for their jersey sponsorship. An insurance company logo will appear on the field, as K-State is one of thirteen schools involved in this partnership.

Oklahoma State

The Cowboys have signed a local Native American tribe as their jersey sponsor.

TCU

TCU will face off with North Carolina in Ireland to kick off the season this weekend. The Horned Frogs will be debuting a new alternate uniform for the occasion. Starting with the helmets, which are based on the 2010 Andy Dalton-era Rose Bowl design, with a purple base and the arched TCU over the frog. The frog will have a four-leaf clover in its mouth (not a three-leaf shamrock), reminiscent of the rose years back.

The rest of the uniform is set on a black base. The jerseys include purple collars and shoulder stripes similar to USC. TCU will also be including a unique horned frog stripe based on the frog logo. The pants will include a purple stripe on the sides with the same horned frog details. The numbers carry a frog skin pattern, akin to past uniform designs.

TCU’s athletic director recently announced that the spiked collar design from the previous uniform set would be returning next season.

Texas Tech

It was a busy off-season in Lubbock.

Back in October, Tech announced that they were retiring the beveled T logo as the primary option, in place for a modern version of the retro Double T logo. The flat version of the logo will now be the primary helmet decal moving forward. With the primary updates also came additional logo, including an updated masked rider mark and mascot head design. Speaking of the mascot, new sport-specific Raider Red logos were created, which is always a fun addition.

Uniform-wise, Tech will be wearing the Patrick Mahomes “gladiator” logo in place of the Adidas logo. It’s similar to the Jordan Brand logo on the UNC, Florida, Michigan, etc., jerseys – they’re still Nike teams, just with the exclusive Jumpman logo. Tech will naturally be the first to don the logo as Mahomes’s alma mater. The design remains the same as last year, with the double stripes on the sleeves and pants.

Additionally, Texas Tech will double down on the Mahomes connection with a new “Let’s Ride” alternate uniform. The new threads are all black with larger, more exaggerated shoulder stripes. The stripes and the Double T logo on the helmet have an added carbon fiber texture. The numbers are all red, with a thin black outline followed by a thicker red outline. The helmet’s front bumper has the Mahomes heartbeat wordmark.

And finally, an additional sponsorship ad will be placed on the Raiders’ football field.

Utah

The Utes are entering into a lame duck season with Under Armour, as they’ve announced a new partnership with Adidas beginning next summer.

West Virginia

WVU has made a big move, replacing the matte white helmets with a glossy version. The modern white shells were introduced in 2013 and have been a matte finish ever since. The Mountaineers also moved to a glossy navy helmet last season.

West Virginia sold their jersey ad space to the state’s largest natural gas producer.

CUSA

The CUSA underwent a bit of a rebrand last season. This year, the conference is introducing a new patch for each team’s jerseys. The C and Star now appear above the “USA” portion, rather than all in one line.

FIU

You don’t see this often. FIU has installed a new all-green, marking-less turf field at Pitbull Stadium. This will allow the grounds crew to paint different themes on the field each game without having to worry about maintaining a grass playing surface.

Middle Tennessee

Middle Tennessee has signed a long-term extension to continue wearing Nike uniforms via BSN Sports.

Missouri State

Stripes are in this season for the Bears. A white uniform with two maroon stripes on the sleeves and pants is new this season. The helmet receives dual-stripe decals to match the rest of the look.

New Mexico State

After nearly ten years with Under Armour, NM State is back with Adidas for the first time since 2015. The new uniforms are rather simple, with white jerseys featuring black/red/black shoulder stripes, and a black set with red collars and sleeve cuffs. A red pair of pants will be in the rotation, though it’s unclear as of now if a matching jersey will be worn or if black will be the primary home jersey.

The Aggies will also sport a jersey ad for a casino resort.

Sam Houston

The Bearkats will have a jersey ad for a sports media company. The founder of the company commented about keeping the patch clean and not including the company name or wordmark in order to prevent the jersey from becoming cluttered. The best way to prevent that would be, you know, not having a sponsorship logo on the uniform, but oh well.

MAC

Akron

The Zips will have new 3D bumpers this year, with Zippy on the front and the school name on the rear.

Bowling Green

Bowling Green has revealed a lot of new branding elements this year. First, a retro-inspired set of mascot logos, Marching Freddie and Marching Frieda, were revealed, along with sport-specific designs for each team on campus. The designs were all hand-drawn and designed in-house by the Director of Creative Services, Ty Hundley.

A new set of fonts was also created by Hundley. Additionally, the throwback “LT Bird” logo was dissected to create a new “Ay Ziggy Zig Zag” pattern, which is named after the school’s fight song, “Ay Ziggy Zoomba.”

At this time, it doesn’t appear that these elements will be included on the football uniforms. But it wouldn’t be surprising to see future redesigns or alternates be revealed with these elements as the base of the design.

Central Michigan

The Chippewas are celebrating the program’s 125th season with a commemorative anniversary logo. The athletic department is celebrating the anniversary with a six-month initiative, mainly centered around sharing memorable moments. It doesn’t look like this logo will be worn on the uniforms, however.

Kent State

The Golden Flashes have retired their old partial-collar and shoulder cap navy uniforms in favor of a cleaner, all blue design. The new jerseys included the “Flashes” script mark on the chest and the K-Bird logo on the shoulders.

Sacramento State

It’s a season of change for the Hornets. First off, Sac State has swapped from Adidas uniforms to now being outfitted by Nike. The new uniforms include contrasting shoulder stripes similar to USC’s stripes. The stacked “SAC” monogram looks to be the new primary helmet logo. They’ll also have white and green pants to mix and match with, both being sans-stripes. The team is also in their first season as an FBS team, so the MAC patch replaces the Big West FCS patch.

Toledo

All four of Toledo’s jerseys are now utilizing the Nike FUSE template this year, after the white tops were transitioned over to match the navy, yellow, and anthracite colorways.

Toledo’s athletic department also introduced a few new branding initiatives. The first is the 1872 font, referencing the school’s founding year. The new font is based on University Hall, one of the oldest buildings on campus. The font is to be used across all athletic teams, but the football program won’t be using it this season. University Hall is also featured in the branding refresh, which includes elements of other designs based on the building. The refresh also includes sport-specific logos that include the TOL initials in the center.

Mountain West

To coincide with the new list of member schools, the Mountain West Conference has tweaked the colors and wordmark. The new purple is considerably lighter, while the wordmark goes from a sans-serif font to a pointed-serif typeface.

Air Force

The Falcons are joining their fellow service academies in sporting the same insurance and banking company as the jersey sponsor.

Much like Tulane, Air Force never misses. The annual Air Power Legacy Series uniform will honor the B-21 Raider, a new stealth bomber plain in development with Northrop Grumman. The design is all black with silver details, with the B-21 silhouette sitting on the left shoulder. The helmet also features the silhouette of the B-21, with a camouflage background surrounding the plane. One of the awesome features is the player’s towels, which are red and read “Remove Before Flight,” just like the safety tags used across aviation.

The B-21’s development is intentionally being kept secret, which plays into the lack of details (and clear, well-lit photos) that Air Force provided with this new uniform release.

North Dakota State

The 18-time national championship-winning North Dakota State is now facing their biggest challenge – moving up to the FBS level. The Bison won ten titles at the FCS level and clearly wanted to up the difficulty.

The team will be playing in the Mountain West Conference, which requires a new jersey patch. It will be joined by a new sponsorship logo for a banking company.

Northern Illinois

NIU has jumped from the MAC to the Mountain West. The Huskies uniquely placed the conference patch on the center of the collar – the same place the MAC patch was previously placed.

UTEP

Minor tweaks make a pretty good impact for the Miners. UTEP has a new collection of uniforms, each with a true set of Northwestern stripes on the sleeves and pants, with the pants stripe tapering to a point near the knee. The collar and sleeve cuffs are in a contrasting color, which helps make them pop more.

The Miners will be wearing an advertisement patch for a credit union. During the patch announcement press conference, the team showcased a new Texas Western throwback uniform, which features a brown base with orange details. It was only briefly showcased in the new uniform reveal video on social media, so this is the best look we’ve had of the design.

UTEP is also a new member of the Mountain West, so the MW logo replaces the C-USA patch from last year.

And finally, the school has introduced a fresh version of the Paydirt Pete mascot logo, with a new costumed mascot being revealed during the football season.

Wyoming

The Cowboys will have their uniforms sponsored by an energy infrastructure company.

Pac-12

After surviving with just two members the last two years, the Pac-12 is back with a new lineup of schools. With the new era comes a new version of the logo, which removes the border, disconnects the A from the mountain, and includes a lot of over-explained “features,” including the hilarious “Superhero Energy” behind the pointy leg on the A.

Boise State

It’s a big year for Boise State. The first season in the Pac-12 coincides with the 40th anniversary of the installation of the blue turf. In celebration of the milestone, a fresh turf carpet has been installed with a few Easter eggs. The 2- and 11-yard lines are highlighted orange to represent the program’s two Heisman Trophy finalists, Kellen Moore and Ashton Jeanty. The kickoff markers are no longer traditional Xs but rather the state of Idaho itself. And a second advertisement is added underneath the midfield logo. A 40th anniversary logo was also created for the turf’s birthday, though it doesn’t appear that it will be worn on the uniforms.

To continue the celebration, the Broncos will be wearing a special hand-painted helmet celebrating the turf field. The all-blue shell has nice details to resemble the field. The left side of the helmet will feature the Idaho Bronco logo, which was the original midfield logo when the blue turf was initially installed. The right side has the 40-yard line for the 40th anniversary. And the center stripe is the hashmarks, which the school is saying is a callback to the seven separate installations of turf over the decades.

The new turf carpet will also include a new sponsorship logo, as Boise State joins twelve other schools across the country being sponsored by this insurance company.

Colorado State

In a surprise move, Colorado State announced in early August that were immediately switching from Under Armour to Adidas (through Game One). Typically, these changes get announced months, if not years, in advance to allow time for the entire transition. CSU did a great job keeping that under wraps, with the announcement made a month before the season started and uniforms showcased just two weeks before the first game.

As I write this, the Rams have only revealed the white colorway of their base uniforms, which were broken in during a practice session. The Under Armour uniforms included a nice set of Northwestern stripes on the sleeves. The new Adidas threads move the stripes to the shoulders à la UCLA. The number font remains the same, but a new double outline is added. The classic orange A for the days as the Colorado A&M Aggies is placed on the back above the nameplate. The Mountain West patch is replaced with the new Pac-12 patch.

The Ag Day alternate orange uniforms will return, keeping the UCLA stripes on the shoulders but adding the large block A to the sleeves. The classic sailor cap ram logo will be on the helmets again, but this time with an orange facemask.

The Rams’ home stadium will also include a new turf field. The marketing department had their fun with a Twitter thread of the details, starting off with “the green turf embodies our grit and discipline.” The whole thread is pretty comical. The notable changes include the conference logo, a solid, one-tone green rather than alternating shades, a gold border in the end zones, the Aggies A on the sidelines, and “Rams” being added to one end zone.

Fresno State

Simple update for Fresno State, which has removed the navy outline on the numbers, making them all white on the red jerseys. The Pac 12 patch also replaces the Mountain West logo.

The Bulldogs will wear a sponsorship ad for a food brand. Fresno State partnered with the parent company, which will allow for different brands to be showcased on each sport. As far as unnecessary sponsorships go, credit for being unique with the different brands featured here.

Oregon State

The Beavers have installed a new turf field this year. The new carpet utilizes the team’s custom font in the end zones and for the yard markers. The old turf used a standard block font in the end zones, and the numbers were a rounded style.

San Diego State

The Aztecs are a new member of the Pac-12, so the new conference logo replaces the Mountain West jersey patch.

Texas State

Two new jersey patches this year for the Bobcats – the Pac 12 logo and the advertisement patch for a health network company. The ad patch hasn’t been showcased on the jersey at the time of publishing.

Utah State

The Bulls are throwing it back to the early 1990s for their September 26th homecoming game against Troy. The helmets will feature the same bull-jumping-through-U logo that the team wore from 1992 to 1995. Utah State is a new member of the Pac-12, which requires a new jersey patch.

Washington State

The Cougars will be wearing a sponsorship jersey ad this season for a Native American tribe collective.

SEC

As one of the premier conferences in the sport, SEC teams are, unfortunately, prime real estate for new ads. With that, many of the conference members have moved the SEC patch from the right shoulder to the collar, similar to what LSU and Florida have done for years now. It’s unclear if this was a top-down initiative from Sankey’s office or if each team had the opportunity to make the move themselves. Some schools will wear the patch on the collar but without an ad for, at least, this season. Other schools look to be keeping the patch on the previous shoulder position for now.

Arkansas

The Razorbacks have added an advertisement patch for a food production company. The same logo has been on the field for the last two seasons.

Florida

The Gators’ glorious throwback uniform design will return this season, honoring Steve Spurrier’s Heisman-winning season this time. This year’s look includes a white version of the jerseys, which will be paired with the matte blue shells with a circle-F logo. Unfortunately, it’s not a true throwback to Spurrier, as this specific combination wasn’t worn during the 1966 season and the helmet stripe is a new addition, not the single orange stripe worn in 1965. Florida will wear the new throwbacks for homecoming against South Carolina.

Florida has recently enjoyed scheduling out their uniform combos for the season, and this year is no different. This time, however, it includes a few new looks. The never-before-seen all-blue combination will be worn against Oklahoma, while blue/orange/white will see action in week two against Campbell. After updating the orange jerseys a few years ago to a “master stripe,” they’re finally getting worn this season.

Georgia

After years of teasing white helmets and pants for recruit photoshoots, the Bulldogs will finally wear them in a real game this year. Georgia will wear all white at home for the week two matchup against Western Kentucky.

Georgia also has a new field ad, which is especially hilarious given the program’s recent history with motor vehicle violations.

LSU

LSU was among the first programs to announce a uniform ad, signing with an Australian-based energy provider.

Mississippi State

After wearing the throwback, stacked MSU logo for the majority of games last year, State has decided to make it the default primary helmet going forward. Also, the front bumper changes from a white “STATE” wordmark to the stacked “Mississippi State” wordmark. The rear bumper was blank last year, but “Bulldogs” will return.

Missouri

The Tigers are celebrating the 100th anniversary of Memorial Stadium this season. The occasion comes with a commemorative logo and a glorious throwback uniform.

The real star is the helmet, which features triple white/gold/white stripes on the top and the classic M on the sides. All the decals carry a faux leather stitching pattern on the edges. It’s details like this that can really sell a good look.

The black jerseys have matching stripes on the sleeve and the same M logo on the collar. The new gold pants are baren of the stripes. The shade of gold is much more muted than the yellow the Tigers have worn in the modern era. All in all, it’s a nice look. It will be debuted on September 19th against Troy for the 100th Anniversary Game.

Ole Miss

Ole Miss will join more than a dozen schools by adding a specific new sponsorship ad to their field.

South Carolina

After a lengthy partnership with Under Armour, South Carolina is now sporting Nike uniforms.

The new uniforms carry the same design as the previous Under Armour threads, with the Northwestern stripes on the helmet, sleeves, collar, and pants. The helmet logo is slightly larger this year than in previous seasons. And for the first time since 2004, the team’s black helmets will have a gloss finish rather than matte.

While the team only showcased the new white and red colorways, they did show off a black version when the transition to Nike went into place on July 1st. It would be hard to imagine South Carolina not wearing black this year, even if the team themselves haven’t been photographed in the uniforms.

Tennessee

There’s a lot of news out of Knoxville this year. First off, the Volunteers are back with Adidas after wearing Nike since 2015. The new Adidas uniforms are naturally similar to what Tennessee always wears, but now include a new number font modeled after the T logo and the T logo itself in an orange badge on the collar. Of course, a black version remains in the rotation.

The annual Smoky Gray alternate uniform series is back, this time honoring the great General Robert Neyland, the namesake of the stadium.

The most notable feature of the new uniforms is the shoulders, which include the original blueprint designs for the 1948 project that built Neyland Stadium into the modern cathedral it is today. Gen. Neyland served in the Army Corps of Engineers and assisted with the design.

The dark grey helmet includes faux leather cross stripes, reminiscent of the design worn by Neyland’s players. The back of the helmet includes a large star to represent Neyland’s Army rank of brigadier general.

A vintage interlocking UT sits on the collar of the jersey and the pants hip, with a patch of Neyland kneeling on the right chest. The trefoil Adidas logo replaces the primary three-stripes logo. Tennessee will debut the look on October 3rd against Auburn.

And finally, Tennessee and Alabama announced that the annual rivalry game will be color-on-color this year and next, just like it was back in the 1960s. 1970 was the last matchup that both teams wore their color home jerseys.

Texas A&M

As part of the Adidas alternate uniform wave this year, TAMU will wear camouflage helmets and jerseys with maroon pants. The helmets include the aTm-State logo while the jerseys have the Texas state flag on the left and a saber logo sits on the right. The Aggies will wear this design against Arkansas on October 3rd to coincide with the university’s 150th anniversary.

After labeling the Texas state-aTm logo as the primary in 2021, Texas A&M is now using the state-less version as the primary logo.

Vanderbilt

Vandy has resurrected the gold uniforms for the first time since 2020. The matching gold jerseys and pants will be worn with the gold helmets, though they are a slightly different shade.

The Commodores will sport a concrete supplier company advertisement on the jerseys. With the new ad, the V logo is removed from the collar. This makes the first jersey since 2007 that Vandy has worn without any of their own logos present.

Sun Belt

Georgia Southern

Georgia Southern has moved to the latest Adidas template. It’s tough to notice compared to the last set, but the tell-tale sign is the stitching down the center of the chest. The Eagles have also adopted a new number font that’s more rounded than the traditional block font they’ve worn for years.

Louisiana-Monroe

The Warhawks have added a sponsorship patch for a humanitarian aid organization.

Marshall

Marshall is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the “We are Marshall” movie with throwbacks this year. (image via Herd Athletics)

2026 marks the 20th anniversary since the We Are Marshall movie was released. So the Thundering Herd will wear 1970s-era throwbacks to honor the movie and the program’s tragic 1970 plane crash, with the usual “The 75” memorial game. The new uniforms feature the matte green helmets (with a period-inaccurate white stripe), a single green stripe down the pants, and a plain white jersey with green collars and sleeve cuffs.

The team will also wear a sponsorship patch for the school’s academic health system connecting local area hospital networks.

Troy

The Trojans have sold their jersey sponsorship to a local banking institution.

Independent

Notre Dame

Notre Dame has a lot of news for this season. We’ll start with the week one matchup against Wisconsin, which will be played at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Both teams will go with monochrome and chrome-detailed uniforms, with the Irish going all navy. Much like Wisconsin, the Notre Dame uniforms include Packers-inspired stripes on the sleeves. The details on the jersey – numbers, stripes, logos, and even a nameplate – are all in a chrome gold color. Eleven shamrocks are placed around the back of the collar to represent the program’s national championship count. A gold US flag sits on the left chest to celebrate the country’s 250th birthday. The numbers also feature a faux mesh pattern, which the team claims the mesh moles are designed to mimic the shape of Green Bay’s G logo.

Green uniforms return for 2026, but this time with a different twist. After introducing sport-specific Leprauchan logos last year, the football-toting logo will don the shoulders rather than the ND monogram.

Last and certainly least, the Irish will have a sponsorship ad on their jerseys for a financial technology company.

UConn

The Huskies are adding a red jersey to the wardrobe this season. It’s the same base design as the white and blue colorways – contrasting collar and sleeve cuffs, husky head logo on the collar, and the custom UConn number font.

FCS

Austin Peay

The Governors are adding a jersey sponsorship ad for an attorney’s office. AP is also introducing sports-specific logos, which is always funny when a gender-specific mascot like the mustachioed man is suiting up for women’s sports.

Bryant

The Smithfield, Rhode Island, Bryant Bulldogs have probably the most unique new uniforms of the season. The New Balance jerseys have a sublimated pattern printed across the entire body of the garments. The numbers feature a unique tone-on-tone bevel effect. The collar includes a badge that looks to be hammers and anvils, as the new uniforms, per the team, “honor the traditions of Bryant University and the blacksmith heritage of Smithfield. Both jerseys include a nice set of stripes on the sleeves to tie everything together.

As different and unique as this look is, I think it works pretty well.

The old Bryant uniforms were much simpler with no stripes and the bulldog logo sitting on the shoulders.

Bucknell

The Bucknell Bison have introduced a new white helmet to the wardrobe. The new shells include orange and blue Northwestern stripes down the center with the bison head logo on the sides. Last year, the team wore matte blue helmets with a script Bison mark on the left and player numbers on the right. It’s unclear if they’ll both be available or if the new helmets replaced the blue lids.

Butler

Last year’s Butler white uniform included a white helmet with the bulldog logo and player numbers, white jerseys with blue shoulder caps, and white pants with blue and grey stripes. The new Bulldogs uniform features a silver helmet with the block B logo, white jerseys with Jacksonville Jaguars-esque grey stripes around the collar and sleeves, and white pants with “DAWGS” on the leg and some grey details around the hip and knee. The helmet retains the Indianapolis skyline on the back like the previous helmet design. The new tops also have grey outlines on the numbers.

Charleston Southern

After debuting a new navy uniform last year, the Charleston Southern Buccaneers have revealed a matching white set. The new threads have a script “Bucs” chestmark, a sandy-gold collar, and blue/gold/blue stripes on the sleeves with gold/blue/gold stripes on the pants.

Columbia

The Ivy League Lions have a new navy jersey, the first of their wardrobe to utilize the Nike F.U.S.E. template. The new tops have a white collar with the C logo, no chestmark, and white and powder blue Northwestern stripes. The old design, on the Vapor Untouchable template, had double white/powder/white stripes and the school name on the front, along with TV numbers on the shoulders that are lacking with the new look.

Davidson

The Davidson Wildcats are no longer an Under Armour school. This year, they’ve moved over to Nike (via BSN) and have new uniforms. They’ve only showcased the black threads at the time of writing, which include grey collars, cuffs, and number outlines. And weirdly enough, the chest logo is placed on a long horizontal grey patch, for some reason.]

Delaware State

DeShaun Jackson’s Delaware State Hornets sported a black helmet last season. This year, they’ve expanded the wardrobe to include black jerseys and pants that feature a feather (or hornet wing?) pattern on the shoulders and pants.

Drake

The Drake Bulldogs aren’t alone with introducing powder blue, but the script helmet decal works well. (image via Drake Athletics)

The Drake Bulldogs have introduced a beautiful new powder blue jersey that has red and white sleeve stripes with a script Drake logo. They’ll be worn with a matching helmet that includes a powder blue and red Drake script decal.

Elon

Elon is retiring their flying Phoenix logo and promoting the E monogram as the primary logo. With the change, they’ve also introduced a new set of Phoenix mascot logos, with a new costumed mascot being revealed soon.

Grambling State

A new black jersey with yellow tiger stripes has leaked online for Grambling State. It’s the same design as the red-striped black jerseys the team debuted last year.

In other news, Grambling State finally received a trademark for their black and yellow G logo after years of legal battles that centered around the Green Bay Packers’ and Georgia Bulldogs’ styled Gs.

Howard

The Howard Bison will no longer have matching home and road uniforms. The new white tops feature a navy collar and shoulder caps, with a large wordmark on the chest and a single-color number. The full-body bull logo sits on the shoulder caps.

Idaho State

The Bengals will wear American Flag interlocking IS decals this weekend in their season opener against VMI.

Idaho State will also sport new Adidas uniforms this season, updating to the latest template. Both the orange and white tops add the tiger head logo to the collar. The orange jerseys see the jersey stripes swap color and replace “Bengals” with the team name on the chest.

McNeese State

The Cowboys have announced a jersey ad deal with a local dealership.

Mississippi Valley State

The Delta Devils have said goodbye to the UCLA shoulder stripes and replaced them with Northwestern sleeve stripes. The new jerseys include green collars and sleeve cuffs with a script Valley chestmark.

Montana

The Grizzlies have installed a new turf field this year. The most notable differences to the old carpet are the sponsorship logos on the 25s and “Up with Montana” and “Down with the foe,” part of the fight song, added to the border.

New Hampshire

The UNH Wildcats have added a new white and grey uniform. The white jerseys include blue shoulder caps with white and grey stripes, while the grey uniforms have white shoulder caps with white numbers. The wardrobe will continue to use last year’s navy uniform. It’s an odd move, but none of the three jerseys match across the board.

Norfolk State

The Spartans, led by Michael Vick, have added a new black uniform to the rotation. It’s designed to match the other sets with UCLA stripes on the shoulders.

Northern Colorado

Northern Colorado will be breaking out the program’s first black jerseys this weekend in the team’s season opener against Weber State. The jerseys include the UNC mark on the shoulders, as the pants have a single black stripe down the sides.

They’ll be paired with the white helmet that includes a black and chrome silver bear head on the sides.

Northern Iowa

UNI introduced a new white uniform last season and will debut a new purple version this year. The new tops include black USC-style shoulder stripes, black collars with a Greek pattern, and “Panthers” across the chest instead of the school initials.

Penn

The Penn Quakers have signed a new deal with BSN to keep their teams in Nike uniforms for years to come.

2026 will also be the program’s 150th season, which comes with a special logo. The anniversary logo will be on the jerseys.

Portland State

Portland State is fully embracing the Vikings nickname this season. The new “Battle Ax” threads include a custom number font with a weave pattern, a Viking rune font placed on the collars and pants, and PDX, the Portland airport code, on the shoulders. The helmets feature a giant ax with a chrome cutting edge and a rose-thorn center stripe.

This genuinely might be the best, most creative uniform of the summer. I personally love all the details included with this look.

Richmond

The Richmond Spiders have been hyping up their new helmet shell/facemask combinations available this season. The new white and red masks will add new looks for the team, with all white, white on red, and red on white all being worn for the first time.

South Dakota

The Coyotes have swapped from Adidas uniforms to Nike this season. The new look is just about identical to the previous design, with dual stripes on the shoulders and a blocky number and chestmark font. The most notable tweaks are with the stripes themselves, which now include an outline to match the number. The pants stripe also changes, going from two separate stripes to a single stripe matching the jerseys.

South Dakota State

The Jackrabbits have replaced their collar-bone stripe uniforms for a simpler design on the latest Under Armour template. The stripeless jerseys have the UA logo centered on the blue part of the collar, with the rest of the collar being white to match the cuffs. The chestmark is also considerably smaller, with a rounded number font replacing the block style.

South Dakota State also has a new turf field this season. It looks like the only change to the design was adding a blue border around the out-of-bounds lines.

Southeast Missouri State

SEMO is dumping the stripes – shoulders, collarbones, and pants – on their white uniforms this season to take a simpler approach. The new Redhawks’ look puts the nickname on the chest and uses a block font for the black numbers instead of a Cincinnati-like font in red.

Southern Utah

The Thunderbirds have brought back their 1990s stylized T-Birds helmet logo this season. They’ll also be sporting new white jerseys that include red and black Northwestern stripes on the sleeves. The old jerseys were sans-stripes and had black numbers. Southern Utah will also be playing their first season in the Big Sky Conference, so naturally their new home is reflected on the jerseys.

Tennessee Tech

After winning consecutive Ohio Valley Conference-Big South Football Association titles (the two conferences combined for a few years to keep the minimum number of members for an automatic bid to the FCS playoffs), Tennessee Tech is now part of the Southern Conference. With the move, the Golden Eagles have introduced a pair of new uniforms, complete with a loud feather pattern on the sleeve caps, collars, and pant stripes. Unfortunately, the team didn’t showcase many great still photos of the uniforms, but did sport the new threads in a recent practice. They’ve even added “Cook Vegas” on the rear bumper, a play on the usual city name (Cookeville) plus Vegas naming convention.

The previous uniforms were a beautiful throwback design with sleeve stripes and drop shadow numbers.

The Citadel

The Citadel will be sporting new white jerseys this year that match the home light blues in design, but not template. The outgoing white tops had two light blue UCLA stripes with white in between. The new threads add a navy stripe into the mix on the newest Under Armour template that places the UA logo in the center of the collar.

The Bulldogs have also signed a firearms company for their jersey ad.

West Georgia

The West Georgia Wolves are sporting new uniforms this season that include scratch stripes on the shoulders and pants. The white jerseys have the school name on the chest while the home blue tops have the nickname. The previous uniforms included triple stripes on the shoulders and pants with no chestmark.

Western Carolina

Two items out of Cullowhee. First, the Catamounts have revealed a new black uniform that includes purple and gold stripes on the sleeves and pants. They’ll be worn with a new helmet design, featuring a purple shell with a gold stripe and oversized cougar head on the sides.

Secondly, the team has signed a regional grocery store chain for their new jersey and field sponsorship ads.

Youngstown State

Youngstown State has simplified their uniforms this season and removed trim colors and stripes. The new white and red uniforms have one-colored numbers and “Penguins” on the front with no stripes. The two jersey colors can be paired with white, black, and red pants. It feels like a downgrade compared to last year’s look – the black outline made everything pop a little more.

Division II

Augustana

The Vikings from Rock Island, Illinois, have introduced a new light blue jersey to the lineup. It’ll be worn with the white helmets and stripeless white pants. The primary Viking head logo is placed on the back of the jersey underneath the collar.

Central Missouri

Central Missouri has announced the first jersey ad patch in D-II with an insurance company. The problem is ads are only permitted in Division I. The Mules are banking on the rules trickling down to the lower levels eventually, but will place the ad on the football field this year instead.

Emporia State

The Hornets have a new carpet this season with two notable updates. The endzone text is now rendered in a nice script font. Also, a sponsorship ad has been added to the 25-yard lines. I do love the honeycomb design in the endzones, which was present with the previous turf.

Grand Valley State

The Lakers have adopted a new white jersey this year that includes a nice set of black and blue Northwestern stripes on the shoulders. The previous white tops have two small black stripes.

Midwestern State

The Mustangs from Wichita Falls, Texas, have introduced a new set of uniforms. The new threads, in white and red with yellow details, include triple stripes on the shoulders and a contrasting collar. “Mustangs” sits on the chest of both jerseys. A new white helmet will be the first in program history and feature the MSU-Texas State logo in full color. The old uniforms included a gold helmet and jerseys that featured gold shoulder caps with a feather pattern.

Northeastern State

After introducing a new white uniform last year, the RiverHawks are debuting a new green uniform in this weekend’s season opener. The new tops match the white colorway and include the school name on the chest with white collars and sleeve cuffs.

Pitt State

A lot of changes for the Gorillas this year, who have swapped from Adidas to Nike uniforms. Pitt State, out of Pittsburg, Kansas, will have the script wordmark on the chest, with red and yellow stripes on the shoulders. The team will have red, yellow, and white pants to utilize, along with red and white helmets.

While the Pitt script is the primary helmet decal, the team will have a few different helmet designs throughout the season. A “Code Red” has been called for the season opener against Ferris State, which will have the gorilla silhouette decals. The white Color Rush combination will be paired with a nice script Gorillas mark.

While they haven’t showcased the uniform on its own yet, the reveal video briefly showed an alternate grey jersey paired with the red helmet and yellow pants.

South Dakota Mines

The Hardrockers have a new white jersey this season that adds navy stripes across the front of the chest. The previous road tops had no stripes and just “Rockers” on the front. With this update, both the home blue and road white jerseys match.

Texas A&M-Kingsville

The Javelinas have new white jerseys with blue and yellow stripes on the shoulders and the pig head logo on the collar. The chestmark is also smaller than what was previously used on the stripeless jerseys.

Valdosta State

Valdosta State previously had three different jersey designs across the three colorways. This year, the black and white versions will match. The new white design has the school name on the chest, whereas the black tops have “Blazers.” The outgoing uniforms included UCLA stripes on the white tops and a simple black jersey. It’s unclear if the red tops with black shoulder caps will remain this season.

West Virginia State

The Yellow Jackets have added a really cool honeycomb stripe to their helmets this season. It’ll be flanked by the fighting hornet on both sides. In the past, the team has worn an oversized hornet on one side and player numbers on the other.

William Jewell College

The Cardinals out of Liberty, Missouri, have revamped the uniform wardrobe this year. Previously, the white and red uniforms matched with large chest marks, no stripes, and contrasting collars and sleeve cuffs. The new red threads include red/white/black stripes on the jerseys and pants, with a black outline added to the numbers. The white uniforms keep the one-toned numbers but add two red UCLA shoulder stripes. Both have a script “Jewell” mark on the chest. They’ll also have a third black colorway in the rotation that will likely be mixed in with everything else.

Division III

Christopher Newport

The Newport News, Virginia-based Captains have new white jerseys this year, featuring large blue stripes on the front. Last year’s white tops included a woven pattern on the shoulders.

Lewis & Clark College

Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, has changed nicknames from the Pioneers to the River Otters. The new otter branding includes some spectacular marks.

The football team hasn’t been active on social media recently, so it’s unclear how the new marks will be used on the uniforms. But I hope the primary otter logo makes its way to the shells.

Rhodes College

The Memphis-based Lynx have installed a new turf field. The old look was all green with the black and white athletic logos and wordmarks used. The new carpet has black end zones with red and white text and the school R-Shield logo at midfield.

Saint Francis

The previously FCS Saint Francis Red Flash have made the big change to Division III and will be known as the Red Wolves moving forward. The new wolf head logo will appear on the helmets.

Washington

The St. Louis-based Washington University Bears have new jerseys with Indianapolis Colts-like shoulder stripes. Previously, the uniforms were solid red.

Whittier College

Whittier College folded its football program in 2022. It’s back this season after alumni pledged over $800,000. The revived Poets program will kick off with a new set of uniforms. A white helmet includes chrome WC logos on the side and purple and gold stripes. The jerseys are simple without stripes, but place the WC logo on the chest. The pants include a nice pair of stripes to match the helmet.

Wisconsin-Eau Claire

The Bluegolds have scrapped their UCLA striped jerseys in favor of stripleless jerseys. The new tops have outlines on the numbers, while the new gold helmets and pants have matching blue/white/blue stripes.

Wisconsin-Whitewater

The Warhawks have introduced a new stylized W logo to serve as a secondary mark. The W is also paired with the team nickname in a new badge shape. It doesn’t look as if any of these will be used on the uniforms this season, but each could work well as an alternate helmet decal.

And there you have it. Nearly 150 teams are listed this year (all thanks to those pesky advertisements). That likely makes this one of the larger editions of this annual review!

The games begin in just a few days. There’s undoubtedly going to be additional uniforms revealed before a team’s first game, but we have to cut it at some point.
